Defeating Dementia

Dementia affects 850,000 people in the UK including around 8,000 people in Cambridgeshire alone.

Robin Brisbourne from Alzheimer’s Research UK will present the latest evidence into what causes dementia, what can be done to reduce the risk of this condition and the progress being made to help those affected.

With dementia stories seemingly never out of the news, the session aims to separate fact from fiction and let you know how you can get involved in dementia research studies going on in Cambridge and across the country.
