A low impact, stress- relieving workout; combining bodyweight exercises, pelvic floor strengthening, core muscle toning and balance workouts. The endurance techniques will build natural strength and increase stamina. The class will help you to reconnect with and appreciate your body.

Ballet Barre

Ballet Barre is a low impact, total body workout. Small isometric contractions are performed and integrated with an interval training approach that improves cardiovascular fitness. Posture, flexibility, stamina and core strength will improve.

Botanic Garden

Guided Tour of the CU Botanic Garden

Come and take a stroll around the beautiful University Botanic Garden in the company of one of our experienced Tour Guides.  Discover plants and trees from all over the world across our 40 acre site and find out about the history of this heritage listed garden and its links to Charles Darwin.  Our Guide will show you the highlights of the season, including a visit to our Glasshouse range where you’ll be able to see plants that have evolved to survive in key environments such as icy mountains, oceanic islands, desert and jungle.  So put on your walking shoes and discover an oasis amongst the hubbub of the city.

Meet your Guide at our Brookside Gate on the corner of Trumpington Road and Bateman Street.

Circuits

Station-based exercise class using work intervals of 50 seconds. Body weight exercises and fitness equipment will be used! Great all round class which improves muscular and aerobic endurance.

A yoga class which, via a series of postures, internal dynamics and breathing techniques, encourages a deeper understanding and control of the physical body.
